Does TRACE™ require a monthly subscription?
No. TRACE™ works with Apple’s Find My network and does not require a monthly subscription or cellular data plan.
Does it work with Android?
TRACE™ is designed for use with Apple Find My and requires a compatible Apple device for setup and tracking. Full tracking functionality is not currently supported on Android devices.
Is TRACE™ a cellular GPS tracker?
No. TRACE™ does not contain cellular GPS or provide continuous live-location tracking. It uses Apple’s Find My network to securely update its location when detected by nearby participating Apple devices.
How long does the battery last?
The battery can last up to 12 months under normal conditions. Actual battery life may vary depending on usage, surroundings and connection frequency.
Which styles are available?
TRACE™ is available in Midnight Black and Blush Pink, with your choice of a Regular or Reflective collar style. The reflective option improves visibility during low-light walks.
How do I track my pet?
Pair TRACE™ with the Apple Find My app on your iPhone or iPad. Once connected, you can view its most recently reported location, play a sound when nearby and enable Lost Mode.
Does TRACE™ work everywhere?
TRACE™ can report its location when it comes within range of devices participating in Apple’s Find My network. Location updates may be less frequent in remote or sparsely populated areas.
Is TRACE™ suitable for both cats and dogs?
Yes. Its adjustable, lightweight collar design makes it suitable for cats and small-to-medium dogs. Always check the collar measurements and fit before ordering.
Is TRACE™ waterproof?
Avoid prolonged exposure to water or complete submersion. A waterproof or water-resistant rating should only be stated if an IP rating has been verified for the exact production unit.
Can TRACE™ prevent my pet from getting lost?
TRACE™ is a location-assistance accessory, not a substitute for secure fencing, supervision, identification tags or a microchip. Location updates depend on nearby Find My network devices.
